Accommodation
The Monte Verità conference centre hotel complex can accommodate 86 guests and is reserved for participants of IGGSy during the time of the meeting (June 30 - July 4). Once you have completed your registration by paying the registration fee, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a booking link and a conference ID, which will allow you to book your accommodation at the hotel complex. All guest rooms are in walking distance from the Monte Verità conference centre.
If you would like to stay longer than July 4, this can also be arranged, but not directly booked via the conference system. Please reach out to the organizing committee, if you are planning on staying longer. (The same is true if you are planning on arriving before June 30.)

There are different hotel and guest house options available for the conference participants to choose from.
Monte Verità conference centre hotel
This is the default option recommended for all participants. Once you have paid the full registration fee, you will receive an automatic e-mail containing a link and an event code to book your accommodation at the conference centre. The center offers single rooms at a price of CHF 92 / person / night and shared double rooms at CHF 77 / person / night.
External hotels
If all rooms at the conference centre should be booked or you wish to stay off-site, there are different hotel options in Ascona directly, which is only a short distance from the conference venue. Below you find a short overview:

Note: Although most of the above places are in walking distance, we would like to point out the local topography. As Ascona is situated on the flank of a mountain, the way between external hotels and the conference site consists mostly of stairs.
